GREEN BAY - Thursday, September, 10, 2009 was the official kick-off to the Hoops4Kids Program. Two area schools - Chappel Elementary and Kennedy Elementary School - participated in the day's activities. Bellin Health sponsored the hoop purchase.

Mary Pulak, Hooked on Hooping founder, gave a demonstration and helped students to learn to hoop. Students and teachers were busy giving it their best shot.

World Hoop Day was September 9th. It's a day dedicated to bring exercise, dance, and hoops to under-privileged children.

The Hoops4Kids Program is one more way to fight childhood obesity, and keep kids active. Plus, it's fun.
