Multi-level (beginner/intermediate)hoop fitness classes.
You will learn basic hoop moves that will get you comfortable moving the hoop around and off your body. It will challenge the beginner as well as the intermediate hooper. It's a great way to burn calories, get fit, and have lots of fun. Wear comfortable exercise clothing and good supportive tennis shoes. Natural fiber clothing works best, because it will help the hoop stick to you.



Every Tuesday
Drop in classes No sign up. Just show up. We provide the hoops, and don't forget to bring a friend.

Kids are welcome with adults.

HOOP FITNESS
6:30-7:15
This class is designed to give participants a total body work-out. The focus is on strengthening core muscles, toning arms and legs and providing a cardio work-out that can burn 300-500 calories in this 45 minute session. Weighted hoops will be used.

Heritage Village Shopping Center Park Area. (Across the street from Ziggy's Restaurant)  Corner of Hoffman Road and East River Drive, Allouez.
In case of rain, class will meet at Pro Fitness, 2615 Decuria Lane, Green Bay, 54311 (located in the  Millennium Shopping Center on Hoffman Road 1/2 mile east on Hoffman Road across the street from the Bellevue Retirement Community) 

DIRECTIONS

Take Webster Ave to Hoffman Road. Go about 1 mile to Shopping Center with all of the flags. 

The Greater Green Bay Area YMCA will begin  "Hooked on Hooping"  fitness classes free for their members starting June 14th at several of their locations.  Their hooping class times are:


East:
Wednesday, 4:30-5 PM

Thursday, 8:15- 8:45AM

Saturday, 9:4010:10AM

West:
Tuesday, 7:15-7:45 AM Wednesday,6:45-7:15 PM

Downtown:

Wednesday,noon-12:30 PM

5:45- 6:15 PM

Caution to Hoop Users:
Due to strong impact directly to the abdomen and other body muscles, new hoopers may experience bruising and some soreness in the first couple weeks of use. 
If you have any serious medical condition, do not hoop without getting your physicians approval first.
